EY- GDS - Data and Analytics – Full stack Developer – Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full stack Developer with Data marketplace experience to design, develop, and manage enterprise-grade data marketplaces. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, experience with APIs, and a deep understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data marketplace solutions to enable secure data sharing and consumption.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for data access, integration, and governance.
• Develop backend components and data pipelines using Java and Python.
• Integrate marketplace platforms with cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and data warehousing tools like Snowflake.
• Design and implement database schemas and manage data storage solutions (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Implement data cataloguing, metadata management, and user access controls.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Ensure performance optimization, security compliance, and maintainability of the platform.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 8-11years of experience in software development, preferably in data-intensive environments.
• Proficient in Java and Python.
• Strong experience in building and integrating APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure or AWS).
• Working knowledge of Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data catalog tools (e.g., Alation, Collibra) or marketplace platforms.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
