Founding Software Engineer (Backend / Full-Stack)

Overview

What you’ll do
● Build and own backend services, APIs, and data layers
● Design scalable systems for real-time communication & AI agent workflows
● Build integrations with platforms, CRMs, and communication channels
● Make key decisions on architecture, performance, reliability, and cost
● Move fast from prototype → production with strong engineering judgment
● Collaborate directly with founders on product and system design

Must-have
● 3–4 years building production-grade backend or full-stack systems
● Strong fundamentals in APIs, databases, and distributed systems
● Comfortable owning features end-to-end
● Experience with Node.js, Python, or similar backend stacks
● Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure)
● Can write clean, maintainable code and thoughtful system designs
Note: Python is a plus, not a requirement — openness to learn matters more.

Great to have
● Worked with event-driven systems, queues, or streaming
● Built real-time systems (WebSockets, messaging, etc.)
● Prior exposure to AI/LLM workflows or integrations
● Startup experience or 0→1 product mindset
