We're seeking a technical leadership professional to architect and develop cutting-edge software solutions using Python, C++, and AWS Cloud for aerospace and defence applications. This founding role combines hands-on software development with strategic leadership to build immersive technology platforms.
Commitment: ~20 hrs/week (part-time)
Location: Remote (work from anywhere)
Pay/Equity: Based on Contribution

AeroSync Digital exists to help A&D teams do more with less. We cut through inefficiencies, slash costs, and push innovation forward in aerospace and defence. Right now, we're building something ambitious: a VR software platform that weaves together tools and tech stack from Pixar’s USD, NVIDIA, and AWS cloud to revolutionize how immersive tech shapes the industry’s future.
We're inviting you into our founding circle as a Technical Lead to be someone who'll guide platform development from promising concepts to production ready solutions that industry can actually use.
What You’ll be Building
• Drive technical integration: connect complex SDKs and APIs from NVIDIA, AWS, and cutting-edge toolkits
• Code in C++ and Python, turning scattered components into unified systems
• Design architecture and make critical decisions from the ground up with us
• Work alongside aerospace engineers and developers who care about what’s under development
• Transform concepts into deployed technology that solves real problems
What We Are Looking For
• A proven builder who's shipped actual products i.e., startup launches, client deployments, real software that people use (not academic projects or weekend demos)
• Solid expertise in C++ and Python, with experience wrangling complex SDK/API integrations
• Capability to work with AWS cloud services like AWS IoT SiteWise, AWS IoT TwinMaker, Amazon S3, Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, AWS Batch, etc.,
• Entrepreneurial mindset: you adapt quickly, solve creatively, and build with intention
• Natural leadership skills: you can own technical direction and guide others through complexity
• Curiosity to explore emerging tech like VR/XR and how it applies to aerospace workflows

This is 20 hours per week, but the impact isn't small. You won't be maintaining someone else's codebase, you'll be architecting the foundation with us for something that could change how an entire industry works.
