Pratt and Whitney (PW) have an opening for a Senior Front-End Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced UI/UX Developer with a strong foundation in front-end technologies and a passion for creating seamless user experiences. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including Node.js), and Angular framework development. Experience with identity provider platforms and cloud services is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Build client and server-side applications using JavaScript and Node.js.
• Design, develop, and optimize Angular applications.
• Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver intuitive user experiences with Figma.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Work within Agile development environments, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies and industry trends.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Identity Provider platforms such as Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Okta, or similar.
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud platform and its services.
• Knowledge of Authentication Protocols including OAuth/OIDC, SAML, HTTP Header, JWT, and Proxy-Based Authentication solutions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular framework.
• Experience with Node.js for server-side development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
