About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the frontend redesign of MailWizz (Yii-based email marketing app): navigation, templates, campaign and subscriber screens, settings, and dashboards.
2. Implement responsive, accessible UI with semantic HTML/CSS, modern JS, and a component system (utility CSS or Bootstrap).
3. Convert Figma wireframes to production UI; create reusable components and Twig/PHP view updates where needed.
4. Optimize perceived performance: lazy-load heavy tables, virtualize long lists, compress assets, and tune Lighthouse/Core Web Vitals.
5. Integrate with existing MailWizz/Yii controllers & REST endpoints; handle pagination, filtering, bulk actions, and form validation.
6. Build theme tokens (colors/spacing/typography) to support light/dark modes and easy re-skinning.
7. Ensure cross-browser compatibility (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) and RTL readiness for future locales.
8. Write clean Git commits, PRs, and basic PHPUnit/JS tests for critical UI logic.
9. Collaborate with product to define empty states, error states, loading states, and analytics events.
10. Document components, CSS conventions, and UI guidelines for future devs.

Skills required:

Other Requirements:

1. Prior hands-on with MailWizz or Yii-based products preferred.

2. Portfolio showing at least 2 complex dashboards/tables (filters, bulk actions, inline edits).

3. Familiarity with email-marketing concepts (lists, segments, templates, deliverability metrics) is a plus.
