General Description Of Role
The IND Front‑End Developer (Level 7) independently delivers high‑quality, front‑end UI solutions in support of proposal, presentation, and sales enablement deliverables. The role owns front‑end execution for assigned workstreams, translating approved designs into accessible, performant, production‑ready interfaces aligned to brand standards and client requirements.
The role operates with minimal supervision, partners closely with designers, content creators, and pursuit teams across geographies, and supports multiple concurrent, deadline‑driven initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, SKILLS And REQUIREMENTS
Core Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with expert command of semantic markup, modern CSS (Flexbox/Grid), and modular JavaScript patterns.
- Independent delivery of responsive UI implementations across breakpoints, ensuring pixel accuracy, interaction fidelity, and visual consistency.
- Application of accessibility (a11y) best practices, including keyboard navigation, color contrast, ARIA/landmarks, and screen‑reader semantics.
- Front‑end performance optimization, including asset minification, image optimization, lazy loading, code splitting, and cross‑browser/device compatibility.
- Design‑to‑code execution: translate Figma designs into production‑ready UI with high fidelity; working familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud assets as reference.
- Component‑based development: leverage existing design system components and contribute to the creation or extension of reusable components where gaps exist.
- Working knowledge of at least one modern front‑end framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) and its supporting ecosystem.
- Deliver front‑end outputs with exceptional attention to detail across spacing, typography, color, and interaction states.
- Apply disciplined version control practices (e.g., Git), including structured branching, naming conventions, and meaningful commit history.
- Independently troubleshoot UI issues and resolve defects to protect tight proposal and presentation deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively with designers, content creators, and pursuit strategists to align on brand standards, client requirements, and delivery priorities.
- Operate confidently across time zones, balancing multiple concurrent deliverables in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Demonstrate a positive, inclusive mindset, openness to feedback, and willingness to iterate quickly to achieve high‑quality outcomes.
- Advanced working proficiency in Figma (primary design source), with supporting knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud for asset handling.
- Git/GitHub (or equivalent) for version control; experience using task and issue‑tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with build tooling (e.g., npm, yarn, bundlers) and basic CI awareness related to front‑end asset pipelines.
- Comfort operating within Microsoft Office environments, including packaging or integrating exported front‑end assets into Word or PowerPoint when required.
- Collaboration via Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
- 4–7 years of experience developing responsive, visually polished front‑end solutions for marketing, proposals, presentations, or digital sales enablement deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to independently implement pixel‑accurate, accessible interfaces from Figma and optimize front‑end performance.
- Experience adapting or extending component libraries and documenting usage patterns to support consistency and reuse.
- Proven track record of meeting rapid‑turnaround timelines while maintaining quality in corporate, consulting, or agency environments.
- Experience aligning deliverables to brand systems and client specifications in collaboration with North America stakeholders.
- Strong ownership mindset with accountability for quality, deadlines, and client‑facing outcomes.
- Proactive and assertive use of technology to prioritize work, customize outputs, and streamline workflows.
- Motivation for continuous learning and staying current with accessibility standards, performance best practices, and front‑end frameworks.
- Receptive to constructive feedback and committed to continuous UI quality improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic Design, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
- Recognized coding bootcamps welcomed.
- Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., Certified Web Professional – Web Developer, JavaScript Developer Certification).
- Familiarity with WCAG 2.1+ compliance and basic front‑end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Testing Library).
- Experience producing optimized digital assets that integrate into proposal and presentation workflows (e.g., graphics for PPT or web‑based views).
