Overview
Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js and Next.js
- Implement SSR (Server Side Rendering), SSG (Static Site Generation), and dynamic routing using Next.js
- Write clean, maintainable, and type-safe code using TypeScript
- Consume APIs efficiently using React Query or SWR for data fetching and caching
- Manage application state using Redux Toolkit or Zustand
- Build responsive, cross-browser compatible UIs using Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or modern CSS practices
- Ensure pixel-perfect implementation from Figma or design tools
- Implement and handle authentication flows using JWT, session-based methods, or NextAuth.js
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate REST APIs seamlessly
- Write unit and component tests using Jest and React Testing Library
- Follow best practices for version control using Git (branches, commits, pull requests)
- Maintain accessibility standards (a11y) for inclusive design - good to have
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and development standards
- Deploy frontend applications using platforms like Vercel or configure GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines - good to have
- Optimize frontend performance and user experience through clean code, modular architecture, and efficient debugging
