Frontend Software Engineer

As we grow, we’re looking for a motivated Frontend React Developer to join our dynamic Engineering team. As a front-end developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining user interfaces for our web applications. You'll work closely with the design and backend teams to deliver high-quality, user-friendly, and scalable applications. This role requires a developer who is eager to stay up-to-date with modern front-end technologies and best practices while ensuring a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js, ensuring a responsive and optimised user experience.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver new features and improve existing ones.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, user-centric, reusable code that’s scalable and efficient.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and standards.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot, test, and debug issues, ensuring high levels of quality and performance.
• Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, trends, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of professional experience in frontend development with React.js.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and web standards.
• Experience with state management library React Redux.
• Experience with router libraries like React Router DOM.
• Proficient with responsive design principles and Tailwind CSS framework.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services.
• Experience using version control systems, preferably Git.
• Solid understanding of frontend build tools like Webpack, Babel, and npm.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Firebase.
• Knowledge of tools like Vite is a plus.
• Knowledge of Nextjs framework is a plus
• Familiarity with cloud services Google Cloud.
