The Challenge You''ll Own
Design and ship an intuitive, AI native platform that:
- Orchestrates sophisticated multi-agent pipelines using LangGraph
- Streams live results to rich, editable dashboards WITH_REPLACED embedded visualizations
- Manages complex data workflows WITH_REPLACED vector databases and traditional SQL storage
- Adapts rapidly as we iterate on product design based on user feedback
Frontend Development
- Build responsive TypeScript React interfaces WITH_REPLACED modern UI frameworks, prioritizing usability and performance
- Create rich dashboards that seamlessly embed plots, images, markdown, and AI-assisted editing capabilities
- Ensure smooth user experience across complex scientific data workflows
- Design and implement REST/WebSocket APIs using Python FastAPI for workflow orchestration and real-time communication
- Build and optimize multi-agent systems using LangGraph - this is essential and non-negotiable
- Implement secure data handling, rate limiting, background job processing, and queue management
- Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas alongside vector database implementations
- Implement data migration strategies and efficient data loading processes
- Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure WITH_REPLACED monitoring and logging systems
- Prepare for future model fine-tuning implementations
- 3-7 years of full-stack development experience shipping production applications
- Strong proficiency in React + TypeScript WITH_REPLACED ability to create polished, responsive interfaces
- Solid Python backend development experience WITH_REPLACED FastAPI, Flask, or Django
- LangGraph expertise is mandatory - experience building and orchestrating multi-agent workflows
- Database proficiency WITH_REPLACED SQL, Bigquery, S3 (Databricks and snowflake experience preferred)
- Vector database and knowledgebase familiarity (Pinecone,Neo4j)
- Experience WITH_REPLACED Docker and cloud deployment
- Startup mindset: bias toward action, comfort WITH_REPLACED ambiguity, ownership mentality
- Passion for clean UX, rapid prototyping, and maintainable code practices
- Graph visualization libraries or data dashboard tools (Plotly, D3, Bookeh)
- Domain exposure to materials science, spectroscopy, microscopy, or scientific imaging
- Model fine-tuning experience WITH_REPLACED various ML frameworks
- Knowledge of embeddings and semantic search implementations
- Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, Kubernetes)
