Full Stack Android Application Developer - Internship (WFH)

Overview

About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop the core mobile application in Flutter/Dart for both Android and iOS from a single codebase.
2. Integrate the camera capture flow with a third-party API (vendor to be finalized, e.g., Haut.AI, Perfect Corp, or similar).
3. Build a rules-based routine generation engine using the provided decision table.
4. Design and implement a daily habit-tracking interface with checklists, streaks, and a weekly calendar view.
5. Develop the correlation engine to connect routine adherence data with scan score changes and present plain-language insights.
6. Integrate subscription paywalls and billing using RevenueCat (Google Play Billing and Apple In-App Purchases).
7. Implement push notifications for routine reminders and environmental alerts (UV and humidity).
8. Develop a lightweight community and discussion feed.
9. Build settings, data management features (rescan and full reset), and user account workflows.

You'll be working closely with the team to build the application. Compensation will be based on the performance review. The monthly payouts will be given from the second month after reviewing the performance in the first month.

Other Requirements:

1. 1. Familiarity with India-specific payment flows, including UPI via Play Billing and the RBI e-mandate framework, or the ability to learn and integrate standard platform billing.
2. 2. Experience implementing habit-tracking or streak-based features similar to Duolingo.
3. 3. Comfortable working from detailed prototypes and specification documents.
4. 4. Experience with backend or serverless functions, such as Supabase Edge Functions or Node.js on Render/Railway.
5. 5. Strong production experience with Flutter and Dart, including building custom UIs from Figma or prototype references.
6. 6. Proficiency in integrating and handling responses from third-party REST APIs.
7. 7. Experience with Supabase or Firebase for database, authentication, and file storage integration.
8. 8. Experience with RevenueCat or Google Play Billing and Apple In-App Purchases for subscription management.
9. 9. Experience implementing push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging or similar services.
10. 10. Proficiency in Flutter state management using Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or similar frameworks.
11. 11. Experience with camera integration, image compression, and file uploads in Flutter.
12. 12. Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
13. 13. Experience publishing apps on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including privacy and data safety disclosures.
