Job Summary

Are you a passionate and results-oriented Full Stack Developer with a strong foundation in Java and a flair for building engaging user interfaces with React.js? We are seeking a talented and hands-on Lead Full Stack Developer to become a key member of our dynamic engineering team in Bangalore.

In this role, you will take ownership of the complete software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to implementation and deployment of scalable web applications.

You will not only be a strong individual contributor but also a technical leader, guiding junior developers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Development Ownership : Lead the entire lifecycle of web application development, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of features and products.
• Full Stack Architecture & Implementation : Architect and develop robust full-stack solutions, leveraging the power of Java (with a focus on Spring Boot) for the backend and the dynamism of React.js for the frontend.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely and effectively with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other engineering team members to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Technical Leadership & Guidance : Provide technical leadership within the team, mentoring junior developers, fostering a culture of code quality, and promoting adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Requirements & Design Participation : Actively participate in requirement gathering and analysis, provide accurate effort estimations, contribute to comprehensive technical designs, and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure maintainability and scalability.
• Problem Solving & Optimization : Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and debug complex application issues across the stack. Focus on ensuring optimal performance, robust security, and seamless scalability of our applications.
• Technology Exploration & Adoption : Stay abreast of the latest advancements in relevant technologies, evaluate their potential benefits, and propose their adoption to enhance our development processes and product capabilities.
• Database Management & Integration : Design and work with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
• API Development & Integration : Design, develop, and integrate well-documented and efficient RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between frontend and backend components.
• Build & Deployment Automation : Utilize and contribute to build and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Maven, Jenkins, and Docker to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Full Stack Expertise : 2-4 years of proven full-stack development experience with a strong emphasis on backend technologies, particularly within the Java ecosystem.
• Java Backend Proficiency : Solid hands-on experience with Java 8 or later and the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Modern Frontend Development : Deep understanding and practical experience in building user interfaces using React.js, along with proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• RESTful API Skills : Comprehensive understanding of RESTful API design principles and practical experience in developing and consuming them.
• Database Knowledge : Hands-on experience working with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Version Control Mastery : Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Problem-Solving Acumen : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical challenges effectively.
• System Design Principles : Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and experience in designing scalable and maintainable systems.
• Build & CI/CD Tools : Familiarity and practical experience with build tools like Maven and CI/CD platforms like Jenkins and containerization technologies like Docker.
