Full Stack Developer

Hummingbird Scientific is hiring a Full Stack Developer to enhance our digital infrastructure and streamline operations. This role focuses on refining user-facing platforms, supporting ERP integration, and building robust internal databases. We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented developer who writes clean, structured code, adapts well to change, and delivers on deadlines in a dynamic environment.

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll improve both customer-facing and internal systems through website development, sales site updates, ERP enhancements, and database design. Success in this role requires a balance of creativity and structure, strong organizational skills, and solid project management abilities.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience in front-end web application development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles
• Hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance optimization
• Proficiency in backend scripting with Python, Node.js, or PHP
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to manage projects and tasks independently

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related field       
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer

Optional Qualifications:

• Experience designing websites and user interfaces with WordPress
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for visual design
• Background or interest in manufacturing or business process automation
