Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with 3-7 years of experience of building web applications with Technologies like ReactJS, NodeJS, NextJS and any other emerging trends in front-end and back-end. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills and a passion towards building enterprise grade solutions across various frameworks to join our dynamic team at jacobs. We expect the candidate to have a strong background in UI, JS, API handling, and Server side coding. The developer is expected to have working knowledge within azure environment with services such as Azure App Services, Functions, Storage and Networks.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the web applications that meet our stakeholder needs.

Job Description & Responsibilities

Primary Development Skills – React JS/Vue JS, NodeJS

Primary Azure Skills - Cloud Architecture, Azure App Services, Functions, Storage, Queues, WebJobs, Failover, S3

Databases - Mysql, MongoDB

Good To Have – NextJS, Strapi, Redux

Full stack software development (React JS/Vue JS, NodeJS, PostgreSQL) / (MERN) with hands on including writing code and unit tests, doing proof of concepts, conducting code reviews, and testing.

Work closely with stakeholders and other teammates to implement innovative solutions to challenging web development problems

Engagement in program logic and flow-charting, development, testing, debugging, documentation, and support

Problem statement and analysis.

Able to work collaboratively with other development teams & business operations team.

Here's what you'll need

Graduation / Post Graduation degree in computer science, or equivalent with 2+ years of work experience

3+ years of experience working with React JS/Vue JS, Material UI/Tailwind

Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), component-based architecture, state management (Context API, Redux, or equivalent) and any charting library (Chart JS/D3/Highcharts).

Professional experience in backend development with a deep focus on Node.js.

Clear understanding of RESTful API development, API versioning, and secure data exchange practices.

Has good exposure to working with databases like PostgreSQL/MySQL, NoSQL/MongoDB

Good experience building single-page and progressive web applications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Self-motivated, ability to work independently

Ability to use creative thinking to develop innovative solutions to business problems
