Role Summary

Own the end-to-end delivery of WordPress and custom-coded web projects—planning, building, optimising and maintaining high-performance sites that delight users and drive measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, customise and maintain WordPress themes & plugins.
• Develop bespoke features with PHP, JavaScript (ES6 +/React/Vue), HTML5 and CSS3/Tailwind.
• Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, payment gateways, CRMs and analytics.
• Optimise Core Web Vitals, page speed and mobile responsiveness; apply technical SEO best practices.
• Write clean, version-controlled code (Git) and set up staging, backups and security hardening.
• Translate UI/UX mock-ups into pixel-perfect pages; collaborate with designers & marketers.
• Monitor site analytics, troubleshoot issues and roll out continuous improvements.
• Research and adopt emerging web technologies to keep our stack modern.

Minimum Qualifications

• Skill-first hiring: we value your abilities over your degree.
• 1 + year hands-on WordPress development (custom themes/plugins).
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with at least one modern framework (React, Node.js, Laravel, etc.).
• Familiarity with Git workflows and basic DevOps (CLI, cPanel or VPS).
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG) and basic SEO.

Added Advantage

• Mobile app development experience (Flutter, React Native, native Android/iOS).
• WooCommerce, Elementor/Bricks, Docker, CI/CD, Lighthouse optimisation.
