Location: Chennai, India | Experience: 2 Years | Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a passionate and driven Full Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on frontend engineering to join our growing team at NCompass TechStudio. You will be working on production-grade applications, collaborating closely with client stakeholders, senior engineers, and junior developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (UG/PG)
• Additional technical qualifications, courses or certifications relevant to Development

Experience

• 2 years of hands-on professional experience in software development
• Proven experience working on production-grade applications

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, performant, and scalable frontend applications primarily using React
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and designs into clean, functional interfaces
• Participate in backend development using Node.js, ExpressJS, and NestJS to support full-stack feature delivery
• Work with cloud services including AWS Lambda, S3, and Kinesis in a serverless architecture
• Read, understand, and debug existing codebases - identifying root causes and proposing clean solutions
• Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and maintaining code quality standards
• Be able to meaningfully leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude) to enhance productivity and code quality
• Communicate directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements, discuss technical approaches, and present progress updates
• Collaborate with senior developers on architectural decisions and technical direction
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing direction on best practices, code structure, and problem-solving approaches
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned features - from planning and development to testing and deployment
• Proactively identify potential risks, blockers, or improvements and bring them to the team's attention

Professional Skills

Frontend (Primary Focus)

• Strong proficiency in React.js - component architecture, hooks, state management, performance optimization, microfrontend
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS - responsive design, layouts, accessibility
• Experience with TypeScript in frontend projects
• Ability to debug and contribute effectively to existing React codebases
• Vue.js knowledge is a plus

Backend

• Working knowledge of Node.js with ExpressJS and/or NestJS
• Hands-on experience with MySQL or similar relational databases
• Familiarity with serverless concepts - AWS Lambda, API Gateway
• Exposure to AWS services such as S3, Kinesis, or similar
