About the job
As a Full Stack Developer at NewAgeSys, you'll build fully-fledged platforms using a
range of different technologies. You'll be involved in the entire product development
lifecycle including the design, development, deployment and maintenance of new and
existing features. You'll write clean and functional code on the front- and back-end.
You'll collaborate closely with our development team to ensure system consistency
and to create a great user experience. You'll write reusable and maintainable code.
You'll optimize web design for mobile for maximum speed. You'll also perform UI tests
to optimize performance. Ultimately, your work will have a direct impact on the
stability and user experience of our products.
Full Stack Developer Responsibilities:
- Should be comfortable working with both front- and back-end languages.
- Should have knowledge of multiple back-end languages ( Node JS primarily ) and
- have knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (like HTML, CSS and
- familiar with databases (like MySQL and MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and
- Have experience with testing and debugging.
- Have an eye for layout aesthetics.
- Curious about new technologies and you're excited to find ways to implement them in
- Have a big appetite to learn and improve your skills.
- Developing front end website architecture.
- Designing user interactions on web pages.
- Developing back-end website applications.
- Creating servers and databases for functionality.
- Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
- Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
- Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
- Designing and developing APIs.
- Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
- Bachelor Degree in computer science preferred .
- At Least 1 year of exposure in Software development.
- At Least 1 year experience in Node.Js
- At Least 1 year experience in Angular or React.Js / NextJS
- Familiarity with server architectures, web services (REST, SOAP) and distributed
- Experience working with GitHub as source code control.
- Working knowledge in Agile and Scrum development methodologies
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency with server-side languages such as node js
- Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL and MongoDB.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
