Full-Stack Developer Intern (MERN / Next.js)

About

GoPratle is an online marketplace connecting event hosts with event professionals such as planners, performers, and crew. We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer Intern to work on product features of our role-based marketplace platform.

As a Full-Stack Developer Intern, you will work across frontend and backend components of the GoPratle platform. You will contribute to user-facing flows as well as internal admin and operational modules. This role is suited for someone who wants hands-on experience working on a live product and is comfortable learning by working inside an existing codebase.

What You’ll Work On

Based on the current product roadmap and technical requirements, your work may include:

Frontend

• Building pages and components using Next.js and React
• Implementing flows such as onboarding, profile management, requirement posting, and dashboards
• Integrating frontend components with backend APIs
• Fixing UI issues and improving responsiveness

Backend

• Building or extending APIs using Node.js and Express
• Working with MongoDB schemas and CRUD operations
• Supporting features such as bookings, proposals, packages, and admin actions
• Debugging and fixing backend issues

You will start with scoped tasks and gradually take on more ownership as you become familiar with the system.

What We’re Looking For

• Working knowledge of JavaScript
• Familiarity with React and Node.js
• Basic understanding of REST APIs
• Ability to read, understand, and modify an existing codebase
• Willingness to follow product requirements and engineering conventions
• Clear communication and consistency in delivery
• Exposure to admin dashboards or role-based systems (good to have)
• Prior internship or project work on a live product (good to have)
