This position is designed to create tangible impact through production-ready software. You'll leverage AI tooling and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack solutions addressing real challenges, not merely completing task lists. You'll ship quickly while maintaining standards, selecting the most straightforward correct approach that reconciles immediate velocity with sustainable architecture.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design and Deploy Full-Stack Capabilities: Transform user stories into delivered value; validate requirements, architect scalable systems, implement both backend and frontend logic, conduct comprehensive testing, and release to production
• Identify and Resolve Bugs: Perform root cause investigations, address underlying issues rather than surface symptoms, and prevent regressions through intelligent test coverage
• Elevate Code Standards: Assess technical plans and pull requests to verify clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt at the source
  
  

• Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend architectures without clear purpose
• Implementing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying problem
• Spending time in protracted meetings about roadmaps and priorities or coordinating with unresponsive stakeholders
• Merely delivering features; you'll own solving genuine user problems
  
  

• Applying AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, deploys rapidly, and remains maintainable over time
  
  

• A minimum of 4 years building production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (framework-agnostic).
• Proven ownership: Track record of owning entire modules, product capabilities, or teams—not just isolated task contributions
• Self-directed execution: Capacity to remove blockers independently, manage your own momentum, and navigate ambiguous scenarios
• Practical experience applying generative A.I. tools in daily development workflows

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
