Contract Role Overview

We’re hiring a Full-Stack Developer (6-month contract) to work closely with the core team on production features.

This is not a temporary support role.
You will own real parts of the platform and be evaluated for full-time conversion based on delivery, ownership, and engineering maturity.

What You’ll Do

🚀 Product Engineering (Hands-On Ownership)
• Build and ship production features using Next.js, React, Node.js
• Work across frontend, backend, APIs, and integrations
• Own features end-to-end: design, build, test, deploy
• Improve existing systems for performance, reliability, and clarity

🤖 AI-Assisted Development (Fast but Disciplined)
• Use modern AI tools such as:
• Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Windsurf
• Apply AI for:
• Faster development and refactoring
• Debugging and test generation
• Documentation and reasoning support
• Maintain engineering judgment—AI is an accelerator, not a replacement

🧠 Enterprise-Grade Responsibility
• Write clean, maintainable, production-ready code
• Handle edge cases, failures, and real-world constraints
• Work with:
• Authentication & RBAC
• Payments, workflows, data validation
• Error handling, logging, and observability
• Treat production stability as a shared responsibility

• Collaborate with founder, product, and design
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have
• 2–4 years experience as a Full-Stack Developer
• Strong experience with Next.js / React
• Backend experience with Node.js
• Comfort working in high-ownership, fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with modern AI coding tools and workflows
• Ability to think beyond tasks and take responsibility

• Experience with SaaS, marketplaces, or enterprise platforms
• Exposure to cloud, CI/CD, Docker
• Experience with auth, payments, or complex workflows
• Strong problem-solving and system thinking

• Backend: Node.js, NestJS / Express
