Key Responsibilities

• Plan and develop responsive front-end features/components in ReactJS/TS

• Plan and develop back-end logic in GoLang

• Write efficient, reusable, readable, and testable code

• Define, create, and maintain unit tests

• Participate in code review (peer review)

• Perform database updates as necessary

• Debug issues in both development and production environments

• Consistently ship small features, functionalities, improvements

• Participate in sprint planning and estimation of technical tasks

• Provide support and respond to queries from any stakeholders as necessary

• Participate in releases

• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions

Competences:

• Good written and spoken communication in English

• Technical skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in ReactJS/TS

    • In-depth understanding of React fundamentals

    • Proficiency with React hooks and how they works

    • Development of React applications based on hooks (or functional components)

    • Experience with state management in React (Recoil/Redux)

    • Experience in styling and creating responsive designs

    • Cross-browser and cross-device compatibility

    • Familiarity with performance optimisation

    • Ability to write unit tests and testable front-end code

  • 3+ years of experience in GoLang

    • Strong understanding of Go fundamentals

    • Experience with RESTful API development

    • Experience with microservices architecture

    • Experience in integrating and working with databases

    • Familiarity with Go frameworks and tools

    • Familiarity with performance and resource optimization

    • [Optional] Experience with gRPC and protocol buffers for building high-performance APIs

  • Experience in relational/non-relational database management system

  • Experience in testing and debugging in GoLang, JS/TS

  • Knowledge in writing quality code and best practices

  • Experience with NodeJS/Python is an advantage

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably GCP)

  • Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ, Kafka

  • Understanding of security best practices

  • Ability to work with third-party libraries regardless of the quality of the documentation.

  • Experience using GIT

    • Work with GIT in the terminal

    • Experience with - merge, rebase, stash, resolve conflicts

  • Knowledge of developing unit tests

  • Experience in Docker and Docker CLI commands
