Position Description

Role: Full Stack .NET Developer - C#, .Net, Microservices, PL/SQL

5-7 years - Bangalore

Your future duties and responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain assigned projects in C# and Oracle PL/SQL according to business specification and programming standards.
• The developer will be required to do significant analysis, developments, Maintenance, and bug fixes.
• Provide requisite information in the Jira, Intra Wiki or Word document as per the prescribed format for the team.
• The developer is required to show a steep learning curve to understand the application flows and independently work in the scrum.
• Would participate and contribute to the work estimation, release and post release activities.
• Perform peer reviews of the team.
• Is expected to learn about the product and all parts of the system at code level.
• Is required to frequently interact (by email/ chat/ phone/ Video Conference) with business Analysts, other application teams, production support in multiple locations.
• The developer is expected to take on tasks independently and own them across all stages of the SDLC.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• 5 plus years of experience in software development and system architecture with Microsoft technologies.
• Strong Knowledge of C# OOPs, Generics, Delegates, Extension, Reflection, and other concepts.
• Experience in .Net Framework (4.0 and above)
• Should be aware of Multithreading Concepts
• Knowledge of creating Windows Services in C#.
• Working knowledge of SQL development is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in creating technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently with Business Users, defining development requirements, managing technical aspects of User Acceptance Test
• Sound knowledge of Software Engineering and Object-Oriented programming
• Very good in investigating issues and providing solutions.
• Possess the ability to explain and articulate solutions and work constructively with others including more senior and junior members in the team to implement the same.
• Have a “can do” attitude that focuses on resolving the overall problem in the medium and long term as well as meeting the short-term objectives.
• Willingness and ability to put in effort even when not explicitly requested to do so
• DevOps Knowledge – Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins and Ansible.

Nice to have technical Skills

• Experience in PL//SQL Oracle.
• Agile Development / Scrum Methodologies / Scrum Master
• Knowledge of the Global Markets (Bonds and Repos) and Regulatory domain
• Knowledge of C++/MFC
• Experience of IBM MQ
• Experience on using monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, etc
