Overview

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled React Native Full-Stack Developer with solid experience in Ruby on Rails to help build and scale Habitnu’s mobile applications and admin platforms. This role is ideal for developers who enjoy owning features end-to-end—across mobile, backend APIs, and cloud deployment—while working in a health-tech product environment.

You will primarily work on our mobile app and admin consoles, and also contribute to our existing backend systems, including data-driven and predictive analytics modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance React Native mobile applications
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Ruby on Rails for mobile and web consumption
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end features
• Integrate frontend components with robust server-side logic
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Identify performance bottlenecks, debug issues, and implement scalable solutions
• Ensure clean, maintainable code with proper documentation and test coverage
• Follow secure coding practices and comply with information security standards
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and improve development automation

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4–6 years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong experience with React Native and ReactJS
• Solid backend development experience with Ruby on Rails
• Experience working with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, MVC architecture, and ORM concepts
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and automated testing
• Experience deploying applications on AWS (or similar cloud platforms)
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced product team

Preferred Skills:

• Experience building applications in regulated or compliance-driven environments (SOC 2, HITRUST, etc.)
• Exposure to predictive analytics or data-driven features
• Experience releasing apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store
• Familiarity with additional cloud platforms (Azure / GCP)
