Full-Stack Web Developer & DevOps Engineering - Internship

Overview

About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop and maintain full-stack web applications supporting Phoenix Labs Global platforms.
2. Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
3. Engineer scalable backend APIs and microservices.
4. Assist in database architecture, optimization, and data pipelines.
5. Deploy applications using containerized infrastructure (Docker/Kubernetes.)
6, Support CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
7. Monitor system performance, uptime, and observability dashboards.
8. Collaborate with AI, data science, and platform engineering teams.
9. Document system architecture, workflows, and deployment procedures.

This internship is execution-focused - interns will contribute to live systems, not sandbox exercises.

2. can work from 9:30 am - 2:30 pm Indian Standard Time (as the company is based outside of India & their local work timings are 10:00 am - 3:00 pm Indian Ocean Territory Time)

Stipend:

INR₹ 5,000 - 25,000 /month

Skills required:

JavaScript, Python, MongoDB, Git, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, React, REST API, English Proficiency (Spoken), Kubernetes, CI/CD, Next.js and Containerization

Other Requirements:

1. Computer science /IT/ AI data science graduates preferred.

2. Strong GitHub or portfolio projects required.

3. Experience deploying live applications is a plus.

4. Understanding of cloud infrastructure and system scaling is advantageous.

5. Demonstrated interest in AI platforms, healthcare systems, or sovereign compute infrastructure preferred.
