Game Developer

Overview

We are seeking a passionate Mobile Game Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with game designers, artists, and other developers to create engaging, high-quality mobile gaming experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Game Development: Design, develop, and maintain mobile games using modern game engines (e.g., Unity or Unreal Engine) and programming languages (C#, C++, etc.).
• Feature Implementation: Implement core gameplay features, including character movement, AI behavior, UI elements, and in-game assets, ensuring they are optimized for performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams—designers, artists, product managers—to ensure game concepts are technically feasible and align with project goals.
• Debugging & Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory usage issues, and other technical hurdles to maintain smooth, bug-free user experiences.
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, tools, and features to facilitate team-wide knowledge sharing.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with new tools, technologies, and best practices in the mobile gaming industry to continually enhance the development process.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Experience: 2–3 years of professional experience developing mobile games for iOS and/or Android.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in a game engine (Unity, Unreal, or similar).
• Strong programming skills in C#, C++, or similar relevant languages.
• Experience with mobile development environments (Xcode, Android Studio) and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with agile/scrum development methodologies.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Detail-oriented approach to debugging and optimization.
• Enthusiasm for gaming and staying current with industry trends.

Preferred Skills & Experience (Nice to Have)

• Experience implementing multiplayer or networked game features.
• Knowledge of shader programming, 3D modeling, or graphics optimization.
• Familiarity with third-party SDK integration (analytics, advertising, etc.).
• Experience with live operations or continuous game content updates.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
