GCP Cloud Architect

Overview

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient Landing Zones on GCP.
• Define and enforce Cloud Governance frameworks, including IAM, policies, VPC design, and logging/monitoring.
• Architect and drive Greenfield, Brownfield, and Bluefield GCP transformation/migration projects.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture and security teams to define network topology, service exposure (intra/expose) and compliance needs.
• Design cloud-native applications and modernization strategies using GCP services.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Act as GCP SME and guide development, DevOps, and security teams on GCP best practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and services.
• Hands-on in building and managing Landing Zones.
• Deep understanding of Governance, Security, IAM, Networking, and Billing structure in GCP.
• Experience in handling Greenfield (new cloud setup) and Brownfield (existing migration) environments.
• Familiarity with Bluefield (hybrid migration) approach.
• Proficiency in Terraform, GCP Deployment Manager or similar IaC tools.
• Understanding of Intra- and internet-facing service exposures.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification
• Experience in cloud migration or hybrid cloud setups
• Working knowledge of DevOps and automation tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹4,000,000.00 - ₹4,200,000.00 per year
