About This Role
We are seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer to join our D&A team within Tech VOIS, supporting the VF DE BI Transformation project. Based in Pune, this permanent role involves managing and monitoring data workflows, infrastructure, and application deployments on Google Cloud Platform. The individual will be responsible for ticket routing, system health checks, data imports, and security scanning, ensuring high availability and performance of production applications.

About This Role
We are seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer to join our D&A team within Tech VOIS, supporting the VF DE BI Transformation project. Based in Pune, this permanent role involves managing and monitoring data workflows, infrastructure, and application deployments on Google Cloud Platform. The individual will be responsible for ticket routing, system health checks, data imports, and security scanning, ensuring high availability and performance of production applications.
What You’ll Do
- Manage incoming tickets and route them to appropriate teams via a centralised intake channel.
- Monitor and debug Dronet data preparation jobs and workflows.
- Oversee GCP infrastructure components such as Kubernetes clusters and Cloud SQL instances.
- Execute and supervise AirbornRF data imports and customer notifications.
- Perform container image management and vulnerability scans.
- Deploy applications using the Neuron framework and implement infrastructure security measures.
- Manage access rights and roles across systems.
- Ensure KPIs are met for batch processing, incident resolution, and application availability.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a GCP engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and hands-on experience with Unix and SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platform operations and infrastructure monitoring.
- Desirable: ITIL skills and Unix scripting capabilities.
- Graduate or Postgraduate in technical streams such as Engineering or Computer Science.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Proactive problem-solver with a process improvement mindset.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a global, fast-paced environment.
