Job Title: GCP DevOps Engineer, AS

Location: Pune, India

Role Description

Technology plays a critical role in Deutsche Bank's transformation. Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) has been established as one technology division for the bank, driving an integrated IT, data, and security agenda across the bank. The function is responsible for implementing the bank’s technology strategy focused on strengthening engineering expertise, introducing an agile delivery model, reducing administrative overheads, de-coupling assets within our IT estate for faster, cheaper deployment, as well as modernizing the bank’s IT infrastructure with long-term investments and benefiting from cloud computing.

As part of the TDI, we provide a GCP based data platform for multiple teams within the bank. Our aim is to support minimizing data replication and duplication throughout the enterprise by providing infrastructure for ingestion, storage, transformation, analysis, machine learning and visualization that is secure, scalable, performant, compliant by design and meet functional requirements for exploitation of data.

As part of this Role, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced GCP DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data platform.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-availability infrastructure on GCP Cloud platform
• Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth, efficient and reliable data workload releases using GitHub Actions
• Deliver high quality software and to be passionate about software engineering
• Automate repetitive tasks and process to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Develop and maintain scripts for infrastructure automation, monitoring and deployments
• Implement and enforce security best practices across the infrastructure and deployment processes
  
  
  

Your Skills And Experience

• Proficiency in cloud platforms such Google Cloud (preferred), AWS or Azzure - must
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code – Terraform
• Experience in CI/CD tools - would be a plus
• GitHub Actions – CI/CD experience - would be a plus
• Exposure to delivering good quality code within enterprise scale development
• Experience in software development processes, models, lifecycles and methodologies.
• Experience in software development and scripting in at least one language (Java, Python, Bash) - would be a plus
