Generative AI Engineer

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement agentic AI systems (tool-using agents, multi-step workflows, orchestration) and LLM services using Python and modern GenAI frameworks (e.g., LangChain or similar).
• Own end-to-end delivery from Proof of Concept (PoC) through productionization and ongoing support, ensuring reliability, performance, and operational readiness throughout the lifecycle.
• Build secure and scalable integrations with enterprise systems and APIs, enabling agents to take real actions under governed access controls.
• Define and enforce non-functional requirements for agent services (security, scalability, latency, monitoring, observability, traceability, resilience).
• Partner with governance bodies and internal intake processes to ensure agent solutions follow established enterprise standards and approval flows.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/GenAI/Agentic AI and translate them into pragmatic, production-grade implementations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Proven experience 3+ years in software engineering / ML engineering, with hands-on GenAI/agentic systems in production.
• Strong proficiency in Python; deep understanding of LLMs, prompt strategies, evaluation, and optimization techniques.
• Experience deploying services on cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and using containers/orchestration (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to lead cross-functional execution in a product organization.
