We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Architect to lead data architecture, modeling, and transformation initiatives for enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in data architecture, data warehousing, data modeling and cloud-based data solutions with a strong focus on OLTP & OLAP modeling, ELT/ETL processes, performance tuning, and regulatory compliance (MiFID II, Skills & Experience :
- 12+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Database Engineering.
- Expertise in OLAP & OLTP design, Data Warehouse solutions, ELT/ETL processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data modeling concepts and practices such as normalization, denormalization, and dimensional modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
- Experience with Snowflake-specific features, including clustering, partitioning, and schema design best practices
- Proficiency in Erwin, PowerDesigner, IBM Infosphere, etc...
- Strong experience in Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, SQL DB, Cosmos DB).
- Familiarity with Snowflakes native tools and services, including Snowflake Data Sharing, Snowflake Streams & Tasks, and Snowflake Secure Data Sharing.
- Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
- Working knowledge of BIAN, ACORD, ESG risk data integration.
- Experience in financial services, insurance, or banking industries is a plus.
