What You'll Do

• Cloud Architecture and Design:
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architectures for enterprise applications.
  • Develop and enforce architectural best practices and governance standards.
  • Create architecture blueprints and technical specifications for cloud solutions.
• Technical Leadership:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex GCP-based solutions.
  • Provide technical mentorship and thought leadership on cloud technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align GCP architecture with business goals.
• Project Delivery:
  • Manage end-to-end cloud transformation projects, including migration and optimization.
  • Ensure successful execution of GCP initiatives within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Develop proof of concepts (PoCs) to validate technical solutions and approaches.
• Security and Compliance:
  • Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, network security, and data encryption.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) in cloud deployments.
• Cost Optimization:
  • Optimize GCP resources to balance performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Establish and monitor budgets and spending forecasts for cloud usage.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Act as a primary point of contact on GCP-related initiatives.
  • Conduct technical presentations and workshops for internal and external stakeholders.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated with the latest GCP technologies and trends.
  • Identify and implement innovative cloud solutions to improve system efficiency.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Core GCP Skills:
  • Compute (e.g., Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions)
  • Storage and Databases (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Firestore)
  • Networking (e.g., VPC, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud CDN, Cloud DNS)
  • Security (e.g., IAM, Cloud Armor, Security Command Center)
• DevOps and Automation:
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Deployment Manager)
  • CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build)
  • Monitoring and Logging (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, Logging, Stackdriver)
• System Design:
  • Experience with designing distributed, scalable, and high-availability systems.
  • Proficiency in microservices architecture and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Data and Analytics:
  • Familiarity with data pipelines and analytics solutions using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., Vertex AI, TensorFlow).
• Security and Compliance:
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and secure application design.
• General Skills:
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java).
  • Strong understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

What You'll Bring

• 7+ years relevant professional experience in Infrastructure development
• BA/MS degree in computer or information sciences or similar field
• Strong knowledge in Google Cloud Platform
• Strong knowledge in Terraform
• Good Knowledge of DevOps principles (CI/CD/Repo/CM Tools)
• Scripting skills using Python or PowerShell or Bash
• CI/CD automation using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Packer, Circle CI, Github Actions
• Good knowledge of Windows and/or Linux Operating Systems

Who You'll Work With

You will mostly work with the Platform teams and/or internal product/case team. Also need to work closely with internal teams like Security, Database, Identity etc
