What You'll Do

Responsibilities

The candidate will have a hands-on role for all technical activities relating to the development and support future growth of the Time and expense systems within BCG. Responsibilities will cover future system design and configuration changes, business rule and application development, data integration design, as well as play a critical role on future architecture design decisions. The candidate will provide technical support within the Time and Expense applications group, system enhancements following Agile methodology as well as perform all other related tasks, such as:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using .NET technologies and SQL DB to support ERP-related functionalities.
• Act as a techno-functional engineer by understanding technical architecture and functional workflow of time, expense and SAP ERP systems.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across custom-developed solutions, ensuring minimal system downtime.
• Gain functional knowledge of SAP modules and processes to bridge business needs with technical solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations between SAP ERP and third-party systems, ensuring data consistency and seamless workflows.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities related to SAP and integrated platforms.
• Working with stakeholders to understand and deliver requirements.
• Continuously explore and learn SAP S4/HANA and related technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance system efficiency and business value.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective technology solutions.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, required; major in IT & Computer Technology or related field encouraged.
• 7+ years’ experience in application development and knowledge in Finance Module. Working across multiple modules in SAP is plus.
• Five years’ experience in supporting enterprise applications, preferably in Finance function.
• Willing and able to create detailed solutions and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Strong technical competence, with the ability to rapidly learn new tools and technologies.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills to work with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Having knowledge of MuleSoft is a plus.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

• Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying and resolving issues within timesheet and expense management systems.
• Application development in complex and heterogeneous environment with exposure to backend languages e.g., C# using .NET Core / .NET Framework.
• Having experience with modern front-end technologies such as React and Angular (version 2+), along with understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 is a plus.
• Experienced in designing and delivering software solutions including CI/CD and related DevSecOps practices, working with cloud-based platforms such as GitHub, Azure and AWS.
• Applying Agile software development methodologies and principles, including work estimation techniques.
• Working closely with key stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions, providing a high level of technical support in a professional manner.
• Leveraging strong analytical abilities and creative problem solving. Determine issue root causes and produce creative solutions.
• Learning new tools and technologies with a high degree of technical competence.
• Showing a commitment to deliver high quality work on time.
• Excellent documentation skills and working independently with limited direction.
• Flexibility and entrepreneurial spirit to adapt easily to changing requirements and priorities.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams and locations.
• Skilled in analysing requirements and translating them into actionable business solutions.
