Hardware & Network Engineer

Overview

Network Infrastructure Management: o Configure, upgrade, and maintain managed & unmanaged switches (Cisco, TP-Link, etc.) o Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues across LAN, WAN, and VPN networks o Handle cabling, patching, and switch/router/firewall configurations Firewall & Security: o Configure and manage Fortinet (FortiGate) firewalls o Setup and maintain site-to-site and remote-access VPNs o Ensure network security, intrusion prevention, and access control policies are enforced Asset & Topology Maintenance: o Create and maintain up-to-date network topology diagrams o Track all hardware assets: switches, servers, security cameras, racks, and access points o Conduct routine audits and produce infrastructure documentation Server & Device Connectivity: o Ensure seamless connectivity between CCTV systems, production machines, and server racks o Liaise with IT team to ensure proper backup, IP management, and failover planning Cross-Site Coordination: o Manage the interconnection of main office and two plant locations o Perform site visits and emergency support as needed (travel required) Maintenance & Scaling: o Suggest upgrades and future-proofing of current infrastructure o Stay updated on new network technologies, licensing, and compliancePreferred Qualifications: Certifications like CCNA, Fortinet NSE, or CompTIA Network+ Exposure to industrial or factory environments is a plus Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix) Ability to train junior staff or field technicians when needed What We Offer: Stable and growing organization with large-scale projects Autonomy and ownership over critical infrastructure Travel allowance and field visit flexibility Competitive salary and performance incentives.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
