Hardware & Network Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Hardware & Network Engineer to provide on-site technical support, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, networking equipment, and related IT infrastructure at client locations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Visit client locations for installation and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, part replacements, and system upgrades.
• Set up and maintain wired/wireless networks (routers, switches, LAN cabling, Wi-Fi access points).
• Configure network devices (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, gateway, firewalls if required).
• Install and support operating systems (Windows/Linux), antivirus, and essential software.
• Respond to service requests, log issues, and provide timely resolutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams or vendors for escalation and spare parts management.
• Perform preventive maintenance and health checks on IT infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation of site visits, resolved issues, and hardware assets.
• Ensure timely reporting and update ticketing systems post-visit.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting.
• Basic to intermediate networking skills (LAN/WAN, IP configuration, switch/router setup).
• Familiarity with Windows OS, system formatting, and software installations.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Ability to travel and work independently in the field.
• Must have a two-wheeler (preferred for field mobility).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
