HIMS- Cloud Engineer- Senior Analyst- Hyderabad

Overview

The Hybrid Infrastructure Management Services function is accountable for Cloud Infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, system administration, Cloud Infrastructure administration, server builds, virtualized application support, user support, application support, patching, troubleshooting, break fix, automation FCR etc. This function is responsible for working with Internal clients across the firm and works closely with other ITS teams.

Work you’ll do

Our team in Hyderabad is seeking a resource, in HIMS Onboarding Team.As a member in this team, the individual is expected to design, build, and deploy cloud solutions across enterprise IT platforms. This role is ideal for an engineer who already has hands-on cloud experience and is ready to scale solutions, improve reliability, and work across multiple systems including ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and operate cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure / Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Design and implement repeatable infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code), including modules, state management, environment promotion, and standards.
• Support hybrid environments, integrating cloud with on-prem capabilities and network connectivity.
• Provide core networking support across cloud and on-prem: IP addressing, routing, DNS, VPN connectivity, security groups/NACLs, load balancing, and traffic troubleshooting.
• Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux (Red Hat, Amazon Linux) systems: provisioning, hardening and performance tuning.
• Lead technical assessments and cloud architecture reviews, identifying risks, cost optimization, and performance improvements
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align cloud strategies with business objectives and innovative projects.
• Maintain and improve cloud security protocols to protect sensitive data and comply with industry standards.
• Collaborate with Security and Compliance to ensure baseline configurations and remediation of findings across environments.
• Advocate and implement best practices in governance, security, automation, and multi-cloud cost control
• Keep up-to-date with GenAI, LLMs, and advanced cloud capabilities and their use cases in real-world enterprise solutions
• Maintain documentation (architecture diagrams, standards, build guides) and contribute to operational excellence (automation, reliability, cost awareness).

• Azure AI services exposure or strong interest in AI automation.
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep).
• Monitoring and observability tools experience.
• Multi-cloud exposure (AWS, GCP).
• ITIL or ServiceNow certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role with an Enterprise organisation.
  
  

• IT Certifications: ITIL V3 Foundation
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
