Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Software Development Engineer 2 to design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance software systems. You will work on scalable, secure applications while also mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive technical innovation and product excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop reliable, scalable, and secure software applications
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform rigorous testing and debugging
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and uphold coding best practices
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams to deliver new features
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for systems and components
• Analyze and improve existing systems for performance, reliability, and scalability
• Resolve technical issues efficiently and ensure the stability of live applications
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to architectural and technical decisions

What We Look For

Skills & Experience

• 4–8 years of software engineering experience in production environments
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages (Java, Python, Go preferred)
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices, and databases
• Excellent problem-solving and system design skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Experience leading or significantly contributing to engineering projects from design through deployment
