We are seeking a seasoned Hybrid Cloud Architect to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will independently lead technical conversations across core infrastructure and IT teams, evaluate new product offerings, and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions tailored to enterprise needs. This role demands a strong grasp of hybrid environments including AWS, Azure, and on-premises infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will independently lead technical conversations across core infrastructure and IT teams, evaluate new product offerings, and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions tailored to enterprise needs. This role demands a strong grasp of hybrid environments including AWS, Azure, and on-premises infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design :
- Design secure, resilient, and cost-optimized hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Architect cloud adoption strategies across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments.
- Define policies and processes for infrastructure design, implementation, and governance.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT stack Compute, Storage, Network, Security, HA, DR, Backup, Observability.
- Solid grasp of Private, Public, and Hybrid Cloud architectures.
- Basic knowledge of Private Cloud Enterprise (PCE) and VMware stack.
- Lead cloud migration and repatriation initiatives, including planning and execution.
- Optimize cloud usage and recommend cost control strategies (e.g., RI, SP, Spot Instances).
- Monitor billing (PCE, cloud platforms) and suggest cost-efficiency improvements.
- Ensure cloud solutions meet security best practices and regulatory compliance standards.
- Reporting & Collaboration
- Prepare executive-level MIS and status reports.
- Document technical and process details effectively.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders, internal teams, and HPE sales/delivery teams to drive engagement growth.
- Proven experience in cloud architecture, including AWS, Azure, and on-premises integrations.
- Strong background in enterprise infrastructure and networking architecture.
- Hands-on knowledge of VMware, NSX-T, Veeam Backup, OpsRamp, and GL Metering.
- Experience in migration and repatriation strategies.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Prior pre-sales/pursuit experience is a plus.
