Role Overview

As a Software Tester at ILENSYS TECHNOLOGIES, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases to identify and report defects.

Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, you will contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations. Your work will directly impact the user experience and the overall success of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and technical specifications to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Execute test cases and document test results, identifying and reporting software defects with clear and concise descriptions.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
• Participate in test automation efforts, developing and maintaining automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not introduce new issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Work closely with product owners and business analysts to understand user stories and acceptance criteria.
  
  

• Demonstrated ability to design and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Proven ability to identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including black box, white box, and grey box testing.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
