Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure AWS environments.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure best practices and optimal deployment strategies are employed.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize AWS services and resources.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance requirements are followed within AWS environments.
• Develop and maintain documentation of architecture, processes, and procedures.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-8 years of experience in a DevOps role, with significant exposure to AWS services or similar Azure services
• Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc. or parallel Azure services
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent AWS certifications.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch Logs.
