Responsibilities:

Job Description & Summary: Data Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on expertise in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Python or Scala, experience with ETL/ELT processes, and deep knowledge of data warehousing, big data technologies, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure.

Responsibilities:

· Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from various sources (APIs, databases, files, streaming). · Cleanse, transform, and integrate raw data into usable formats for downstream analytics and machine learning applications. · Develop and manage data storage solutions such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse. · Optimize data processing workflows and database performance to ensure minimal latency and high availability. · Implement data validation, logging, lineage, and monitoring to ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance. · Use orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Luigi, or cloud-native schedulers to automate data workflows and processes. · Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions. · Maintain thorough documentation and follow engineering best practices, including version control, CI/CD, and testing. · Stay updated on emerging tools, trends, and technologies in the data engineering landscape to improve system performance and team productivity.


Mandatory skill sets:

Python, SQL, AWS/Azure/GCP Data Analytics tools (Glue, Airflow, Appflow, Redshift/Bigquery/Snowflake, Synapse), Spark, PySpark

Preferred skill sets:

· Hands-on experience ETL tools of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Databricks · Prometheus/Grafana

4 to 10 years
