Job Description & Summary: Java developer

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java 3+ and Spring Boot · Implement RESTful APIs and ensure proper API versioning and documentation · Build event-driven architectures using message queues and streaming platforms · Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment · Write comprehensive unit, integration, and contract tests

Mandatory skill sets:

· 3-4 + years of Java development experience · 3+ years hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security · Strong understanding of microservices architecture patterns and best practices · Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) · Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) · Experience with message brokers (Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS) · Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) · Experience with API gateway technologies

Preferred skill sets:

· Strong experience with Git version control and branching strategies · Proficiency with build tools (Maven, Gradle) · Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mock frameworks, Test containers) · Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) · Knowledge of monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
