Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Python API Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust API integrations that connect systems, applications, and services across our platform. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills with a focus on RESTful APIs, webhooks, and data exchange formats like JSON and XML. You will collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, and external partners to deliver seamless and scalable API Responsibilities :
We are seeking a skilled Python API Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust API integrations that connect systems, applications, and services across our platform. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills with a focus on RESTful APIs, webhooks, and data exchange formats like JSON and XML. You will collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, and external partners to deliver seamless and scalable API Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and maintain secure and efficient APIs using Python frameworks (such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django).
- Integrate external APIs and services through REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON.
- Implement and manage webhooks and asynchronous HTTP workflows.
- Write optimized SQL queries for various relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Collaborate with frontend and full-stack developers to ensure effective end-to-end functionality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all API-related components.
- Monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of APIs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve API and data integration issues.
- Work with DevOps and QA teams to automate deployment and testing pipelines.
- Leverage low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make/Integromat, Microsoft Power Automate) when appropriate to accelerate development or prototype Qualifications :
- 3- 5 years of professional experience in backend or full-stack development.
- Proficiency in Python, with practical experience using modern web frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles, HTTP methods, status codes, and authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, API Keys).
- Hands-on experience with integration formats such as JSON, XML, and URL-encoded data.
- Experience in developing and consuming APIs in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries and understand database performance considerations.
- Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
