We are seeking experienced backend data engineers to support our Business Intelligence team.

Responsibilities

The selected consultants will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and models that power our analytics and reporting Technology Stack :

• Data Transformation : dbt (core transformation framework)
• Data Quality & Testing : Elementary for dbt testing
• Databases & Data Sources : Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Data Warehouse : Amazon Redshift
• Business Intelligence / Visualization : Requirements :
• Data Modeling Expertise : Strong background in dimensional modeling, schema design, and maintaining scalable models for BI/analytics use cases.
• Performance Tuning : Proven ability to optimize queries, warehouse performance, and transformation workflows to support large-scale analytics workloads.
• SQL Mastery : Expert-level SQL skills across Redshift, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Data Pipeline Development : Hands-on experience building and maintaining dbt pipelines (from ingestion to transformation and warehouse loading).
• Data Quality Assurance : Experience designing and implementing robust QA processes, including testing, reconciliation, and anomaly detection.
• Analytical Skills : Ability to perform advanced data analysis to validate results, troubleshoot issues, and support BI stakeholders.
• Collaboration : Analysts, data scientists, and business Skills (Nice-to-Have) :
• Experience with AWS ecosystem beyond Redshift (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda).
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data pipelines.
• Exposure to Looker LookML modeling.
• Familiarity with data governance, cataloging, and lineage tools.
• Orchestration experience with Apache Airflow.
• Experience with Snowflake as a data warehouse platform.
