Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Consultant with a strong expertise in Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud (CDP), and SaaS application integrations. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic advisor and hands-on executor for designing, implementing, and optimizing cross-channel marketing initiatives and customer data strategies using Salesforce technologies. This role will work closely with stakeholders from marketing, IT, and data teams to ensure effective use of the Salesforce ecosystem in driving business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Consultant with a strong expertise in Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud (CDP), and SaaS application integrations. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic advisor and hands-on executor for designing, implementing, and optimizing cross-channel marketing initiatives and customer data strategies using Salesforce technologies. This role will work closely with stakeholders from marketing, IT, and data teams to ensure effective use of the Salesforce ecosystem in driving business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Marketing Cloud solutions including Journeys, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Interaction Studio.
- Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Data Cloud to enable advanced segmentation, audience building, and real-time personalization.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions leveraging Data Clouds CDP capabilities to build unified customer profiles and insights.
- Conduct end-to-end integrations with SaaS applications such as CRMs, ERPs, eCommerce platforms, customer service tools, and analytics platforms using APIs, middleware, and native connectors.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data flows between systems, ensuring data quality, governance, and real-time availability.
- Develop and maintain data extensions, triggered sends, SQL queries, and custom activities within Marketing Cloud.
- Support ongoing campaign operations and provide guidance to marketing teams on journey orchestration, audience segmentation, and A/B testing.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform health and compliance.
- Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and industry trends to continuously improve system :
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, etc.)
- 2+ years working with Salesforce Data Cloud / Customer Data Platform (CDP)
- Proven track record of integrating Salesforce with third-party SaaS applications via REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, or similar platforms
- Solid understanding of data modeling, segmentation, and audience strategies
- Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, and automation workflows within Marketing Cloud
- Experience working in agile/scrum environments and collaborating cross-functionally with product, marketing, and IT teams
- Familiarity with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and best practices around customer data usage
- Salesforce certifications such as :
- Marketing Cloud Consultant
- Marketing Cloud Developer
- Data Cloud Consultant (if available)
- Understanding of B2C and/or B2B customer journeys and personalization strategies
