About the job

We are looking for an Entry-Level Python Engineer who is eager to learn, comfortable with problem-solving, and passionate about building reliable, scalable, and efficient software systems using modern technologies. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining Python-based applications and services that power Swift's core data-based functionality.

What you'll do

1. Develop, test, and maintain Python applications and backend services
2. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
3. Build and integrate RESTful APIs and work with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
5. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes
6. Debug and troubleshoot issues in development and production environments

Must haves

1. 0-2 years of experience in software development or Python programming (including internships, academic projects, or personal projects)
2. Strong foundation in Python programming and understanding of core concepts
3. Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
4. Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies
5. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Good to have

1. Experience with web frameworks like Flask, or FastAPI
2. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
3. Familiarity with Docker and basic containerization concepts
