About the job:

As an iOS app developer, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and create innovative solutions for our health and wellness app. Your expertise in Objective C, Swift, UI & UX design, CI/CD, GraphQL, REST API, and iOS development will be crucial in developing and maintaining our app.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and ship high-quality iOS features, experiments, and products in Swift (and Objective-C where needed) to support international growth at a massive scale.
2. Collaborate closely with product and design to craft compelling, user-centric experiences; contribute technical insight during product reviews and team meetings.
3. Own the full development cycle- technical design, implementation, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch and iterate based on data and feedback.
4. Uphold engineering best practices: write unit/integration/E2E tests, maintain clear documentation, and drive CI/CD and code review quality.
5. Contribute meaningfully to team strategy and roadmap- don't just execute, help decide what we build and why.
6. Ensure reliable, scalable, and maintainable code with attention to performance profiling, accessibility, and internationalization.
7. Integrate with backend APIs (GraphQL/REST), applying solid HTTP fundamentals and helping design maintainable API contracts.

Other Requirements:

1. Expert-level Swift; working knowledge of Objective-C and interoperability.

2. Solid grasp of modern iOS app architecture, testing strategies (unit/integration/E2E), analytics/experimentation (including A/B testing), CI/CD, and code review practices.

3. Integrate with backend services (GraphQL/REST); influence API design for clarity, stability, and maintainability.

4. Shipped large-scale consumer apps with internationalization, accessibility, and rigorous performance tuning.

5. Comfortable bridging Objective-C and Swift; expertise with modularization and build performance.

Nice to have:

1. Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP fundamentals, and designing maintainable API contracts.

2. Prior work on large, internationalized consumer apps and App Store release management.
