iOS Developer

Overview

We are growing our mobile development team, and are looking for a Senior iOS developer who can help us improve our clients app’s usability, performance and functionality. You will join an existing team of two senior iOS developers. Day to day, you’ll move between picking up tickets from the backlog, writing and reviewing code, and collaborating with the team to develop solutions to issues affecting our users.

Client Description:
Our Client is an open source, private messaging application. They build cutting edge, onion routed and end-to-end encrypted tools to deliver the most secure and user-friendly messaging experience that exists today. Working with our Client involves developing novel solutions to tricky real world problems and working with/on groundbreaking technologies. They are looking for individuals who are excited to drive the next frontier of personal communication technology and user privacy tools. They started developing in 2019 and have reached over 1.2 million monthly active users.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

• With a minimum of 2 years working experience in a Senior iOS Development role who can help us improve our iOS app’s usability, performance and functionality.
• Significant experience building native iOS applications in Swift
• Experience working in a team on large-scale consumer applications
• Strong experience with both UIKit and SwiftUI based frameworks, including the ability to refactor existing UIKit screens into SwiftUI.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving crashes in live, production iOS applications
• Any significant contributions to open source software on Github
• A demonstrated passion for building software which preserves user privacy
• Experience integrating or working on low level networking and cryptography libraries, especially in C or C++
