iOS Developer

Overview

We’re hiring an iOS Engineer with a strong UIKit foundation to work on production-grade consumer apps. This role is hands-on and UI-heavy - you’ll be building custom interfaces, animations, and visual features where performance and polish matter.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain iOS apps using Swift + UIKit
• Create custom UI components and layouts
• Implement rich animations using CoreAnimation
• Work with image processing, filters, and effects using CoreImage
• Manage local persistence using CoreData
• Optimize UI performance, memory usage, and rendering
• Integrate REST APIs and handle async data flows
• Debug UI issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks
• Ship frequent App Store updates

Must-Have Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional iOS development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with UIKit
• Experience using CoreAnimation (transitions, layers, animations)
• Experience with CoreImage (filters, image processing, rendering)
• Experience with CoreData (CRUD, relationships, migrations basics)
• Solid understanding of Auto Layout
• Experience working with APIs (REST, JSON)
• Familiarity with App Store submission & TestFlight

Technical Expectations

• Comfortable with MVC / MVVM architecture
• Able to read and work within an existing UIKit codebase
• Strong debugging skills using Xcode tools
• Attention to UI/UX details and interaction quality
• Writes clean, maintainable Swift code

Nice to Have

• Experience with custom drawing (CALayer, Core Graphics)
• Media-heavy or creator-focused app experience
• Performance optimization experience (instruments, memory profiling)
• Experience handling large image/video assets
