About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L3 Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and advanced troubleshooting of complex network solutions for both new deployments and existing customers. Your deep technical expertise in various networking technologies, including Firewalls, Switching, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, and SASE, will be essential as you act as a subject matter expert (SME) and provide crucial support for strategic projects.

Job Description

As an L3 Network Engineer, you will be a key technical leader within our network services team. You will leverage your extensive networking knowledge to design robust solutions, configure network devices, and provide expert-level support. You will work closely with project teams, OEMs, and customers, ensuring the successful delivery and operation of their network infrastructure. Your ability to handle complex network issues, implement advanced technologies, and mentor team members will be vital to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and configuration of the network components for new products being deployed, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to finalize network designs, ensuring compatibility and adherence to best practices.
• Perform the configuration of network devices based on the agreed-upon designs and obtain validation from the OEM to ensure proper implementation.
• Provide expert-level support to project teams for all network-related aspects of ongoing projects.
• Configure network elements as required by project plans and obtain confirmation from the
  
  

project team upon completion of the network portion to ensure alignment with project goals.

• Act as the primary point of escalation (L3/SME) for existing customers who have been
  
  

provided with network services, including Firewalls, Networking equipment, SD-WAN, and SASE

solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing timely and effective solutions to
  
  

ensure customer satisfaction.

• Lead the implementation of SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) solutions for new customers, ensuring secure and optimized connectivity.
• Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) and technical demonstrations for customers as requested by the business team to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our network solutions.
• Take ownership of implementing projects and fulfilling orders that involve the deployment of
  
  

Firewall, Switching, and Wi-Fi solutions for customers, ensuring successful and timely delivery.

• Act as the Level 3 (L3) Subject Matter Expert (SME) for network configuration on strategic
  
  

projects, including Cloud deployments, CDAC (Centre for Development of Advanced

Computing) initiatives, and other government projects, providing expert guidance and support.

• Manage network services components that are deployed on-premises, including monitoring
  
  

their health, performance, and capacity.

• Proactively track renewals for network services and plan for capacity enhancements as
  
  

needed to ensure uninterrupted service.

• Conduct technical training sessions for team members to enhance their networking skills and
  
  

knowledge.

• Conduct workshops with the team to facilitate effective knowledge transfer and ensure a high level of technical competency within the network services group.
• Create and maintain comprehensive High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD)
  
  

documentation for all completed network projects, ensuring clarity and facilitating future

support and modifications.

• Ensure all network designs and implementations adhere to industry best practices, security
  
  

standards, and relevant compliance requirements.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in networking technologies and proactively
  
  

identify opportunities for improving our service offerings and technical Skills & Experience :

• Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex network environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP),
  
  

TCP/IP stack, and network security principles.

• Hands-on experience with configuration and management of enterprise-grade firewalls (e.g.,
  
  

Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet).

• Significant experience in the implementation and management of SD-WAN and SASE solutions (e.g., Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela), Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN (formerly CloudGenix), Fortinet
  
  

FortiSASE, VMware SD-WAN by VeloCloud).

• Solid understanding of enterprise Wi-Fi solutions, including configuration and troubleshooting of wireless controllers and access points (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Meraki).
• Experience in effectively coordinating with network hardware and software OEMs
