About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic infrastructure team.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting of our complex network infrastructure. You will leverage your deep expertise in various networking technologies to ensure high availability, security, and optimal performance of our critical systems, supporting both on-premises and cloud environments.

• Develop high-level and low-level network designs (HLD/LLD) for various projects and

architectural principles.

• Implement and configure network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, load
  
  

balancers, and wireless access points from leading vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, F5).

• Execute network changes following established change management processes and best
  
  

practices.

• Oversee and perform network upgrades and migrations.
• Provide expert-level (L2/L3/L4) troubleshooting and resolution for complex network incidents
  
  

and performance issues.

• Utilize network monitoring tools and packet analyzers to diagnose and resolve connectivity,
  
  

performance, and security problems.

• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 network availability (if applicable).
• Design, implement, and manage network security solutions including firewalls (NGFWs), VPNs
  
  

(IPsec, SSL), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and network access control (NAC).

• Ensure network security policies and configurations adhere to industry best practices and
  
  

compliance requirements.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation plans.
• Monitor network performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to
  
  

ensure optimal network health.

• Perform capacity planning to proactively address growth and ensure adequate network
  
  

resources.

• Identify opportunities for network automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual
  
  

errors.

• Develop and implement network automation scripts (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform) for
  
  

configuration management, monitoring, and deployment.

• Create and maintain accurate network diagrams, documentation, and operational
  
  

procedures.

• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and mentor junior network engineers.
• Liaise with network hardware and software vendors, service providers, and telecommunication companies to resolve issues and evaluate new products.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience : 5 years of progressive experience in network engineering, with a significant

portion dedicated to designing, implementing, and supporting complex enterprise networks.

• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching protocols
  
  

(VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP), and QoS.

• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise-grade firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower) and other network security technologies.
• Experience with load balancing solutions (e.g., F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM, NGINX, HAProxy).
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting IPsec and SSL VPNs.
• Expert-level network troubleshooting skills using packet capture tools (e.g., Wireshark) and
  
  

network monitoring systems.

• Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems for network device interaction
  
  

and tools.

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible,
