The Role
We're looking for an IT Administrator to own day-to-day IT operations across Instead's US and international offices. You'll be responsible for device management, employee onboarding and offboarding, helpdesk support, and keeping our IT systems running smoothly for a growing team.
You'll report to the Senior Director of Data Analytics and Business Systems and serve as the hands-on operator who makes sure every employee has the tools, access, and support they need from day one. This role is based in Hyderabad and supports teams across four office locations.
What You'll Do
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including hardware provisioning, account setup, Okta access configuration, and gSuite administration
- Own device management across the company using MDM tools, including hardware acquisition, imaging, deployment, and remote management
- Administer Okta SSO, managing user access, security policies, and application integrations
- Provide helpdesk support for internal users across Slack, Zoom, Loom, Adobe, Microsoft Office, Tableau, and other tools
- Manage security and antivirus implementation and updates across all devices
- Support gSuite and AWS administration for a set of internal services
- Handle backup and recovery planning and implementation
- Coordinate IT operations across US and India offices, ensuring consistent standards and response times
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration and support
- Strong experience with Okta or similar identity and access management platforms
- Experience with MDM tools for device management across macOS and Windows
- Proficiency in gSuite administration
- Familiarity with AWS administration for basic services
- Excellent communication skills. You'll work across time zones with teams in the US and India
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests while maintaining quality
